Maz at the stall

We arrived to set up on the Friday, which was much more civilised as we could set up without all the rushing about on the day. I was once again determined to get all modern & instagram our weekend, hopefully this time I could get a signal!

Before we knew it we were all set up & ready to leave...

Bedroom or library?

The real boss of Alv & Paul's house

We stayed at Alv & Paul's. Which was an awesome place. My room didn't have your usual entryway..

Looks like a bookshelf...

In the room I stayed in the room wasn't your normal door.  This looks like bookshelves, but in reality...

Secret door!!!!

It was the door!  How cool is that.  I've always wanted my own secret door, so for a couple of nights I had one!

Saturday

Even our transport has a message :-)

We had transportation from the vegan runner extraordinaire Dave Arnold over the weekend, so special thanks to him for chauffeuring us around.

Saturday was an easier day for us as the contest & talk happened on the Sunday, so we had a while to buzz around & see the place before things got really hectic for us.

Pirates!

Looks like a pirate ship?

I notice a strange looking schooner anchored off-shore (ok boating-types it may not be a schooner, I'm not that boaty!). Pirates can be an issue in places like Bristol so I kept an eye out.

Luckily the pirates at the vegfest were of the friendly kind & just wanted to find some vegan pieces of eight & alcohol-free grog!

So, that was our weekend. Unfortunately I could attend Anastasia's talk so we do not have pictures of that. It was a fantastic weekend, so thanks to all the vegfest crew for making it possible for us to come along & join in the fun.

As usual we will leave you with a list of our sponsors again & pictures of people getting their prizes.  I hope if you attended you enjoyed the weekend as much as we did!
